How To Use Trigger Links

Trigger links automate follow-up sequences when customers click links in messages.

Step 1. Create a Trigger Link

  • Go to "Emails and Socials" > "Trigger Links."
  • Click "Add Link" and name it (e.g., email nurture sequence).
  • Input your desired URL (e.g., www.link.com) and click "Save."
  • Step 2. Set up Automations

  • Use the created trigger link to trigger specific automations.
  • In the automation, add content (e.g., SMS, email) and insert the trigger link.
  • Step 3. Trigger Automations on Link Click

    Choose "Trigger Link Clicked" in the automation to activate sequences based on link clicks.

    Step 4. Build Follow-up Sequences

  • Create sequences with SMS or email messages using the trigger link.
  • Continue to build follow-ups that send reminders if no action is taken.
  • Step 5. Stop Follow-ups upon Booking

  • If a customer books a call via the calendar, remove them from the follow-up workflow.
  • Automate this by linking the appointment trigger to end the follow-up sequence.
  • Step 6. Refine Automation

    Adjust wait times and additional follow-ups (e.g., SMS after a day) as needed to encourage engagement.
