How To Build A Chatbot Inside Your STS CRM™
Create social media chatbots to automate lead generation and sales processes easily.
Step 1. Access Account Settings
Log in to your platform account.Navigate to the Settings section.Step 2. Connect Social Media Accounts
Scroll down to Integrations.Ensure your Facebook and Instagram accounts are connected.Click Connect if not already linked.Step 3. Navigate to Automation
Return to the main dashboard.Select the Automation tab.Step 4. Create a New Workflow
Click on Create Workflow.Choose to Start from Scratch.Step 5. Set Up Trigger Words
Define specific keywords that will trigger the chatbot (e.g., "free guide").These triggers can be based on direct messages or post comments.Step 6. Select Communication Channels
Click on Filters.Choose the relevant channels:- Facebook Messenger
- Instagram DMs
- SMS (if using WhatsApp via the plugin)
Step 7. Define Key Phrases
Enter the exact keywords (e.g., "shredded guide").Ensure phrases are unique to avoid unintended triggers.Step 8. Configure Responses for Comments
Select Comment as the trigger type.Choose the specific Instagram post or leave it blank to apply to all posts.Enable Exact Match for the key phrase.Add response messages, varying them to appear natural.Step 9. Set Up Direct Message (DM) Responses
Choose Reply for customer DMs.Create a series of responses thanking users and requesting their email addresses.Use personalization tokens (e.g., user's first name).Step 10. Integrate WhatsApp (Optional)
If desired, add the WhatsApp plugin from the Supercharge CRM.Configure SMS settings to route through WhatsApp.Step 11. Implement Email Collection Workflow
After requesting the email, set a Wait period (e.g., 1 hour).Add a condition to check if the user has replied with a valid email.If not, send a follow-up message asking for the email again.Step 12. Deliver the Lead Magnet
Once a valid email is received, send the free guide link via DM.Alternatively, provide a direct download link in the initial response.Step 13. Finalize and Activate
Review all automation steps and responses.Toggle Allow Reentry based on whether users can trigger the chatbot multiple times.Click Save and Turn On the chatbot.Step 14. Test Your Chatbot
Send test messages and comments with the trigger keywords.Ensure responses and email collection work seamlessly.Step 15. Monitor and Optimize
Regularly check chatbot performance.Update trigger words and responses as needed to improve user engagement.
