Set up notifications for automations to receive alerts via email, SMS, or app.
Inside the platform, you can create internal notifications to alert yourself or team members when specific actions occur. These notifications can be sent via email, SMS, or as a push notification on your phone.
To receive notifications on your phone, download the Lead Connector app. You can find it under Docs and Bolt-ons in the platform. Log in using the same credentials as the main platform.
To trigger a notification, locate the automation associated with the event you want to be notified about (e.g., scheduling a call, filling out a form, downloading a lead magnet). You can either create a new automation or modify an existing one.
In the automation workflow, a trigger starts the process when a specified action occurs (e.g., a form submission). After the trigger, you can add a sequence of actions that follow.
Once the workflow is set up, you can add an Internal Notification step:
Customize the notification message by using custom values (e.g., the lead's full name or the name of the lead magnet). This allows the notification to contain relevant details.
If the notification is going to a specific user via SMS, ensure their phone number is correctly added in the system:
After setting up the notification, save and activate the workflow. This ensures that when the specified trigger occurs, the selected user receives the notification automatically.
