Intelligent Forms: Leveraging Conditional Logic for Tailored Experiences
Conditional logic lets your forms and surveys adapt to user answers, guiding them through personalized paths and helping you qualify leads automatically. Here’s a concise guide:
1. Open Your Form or Survey
Go to Surveys or Forms and select the one you want to edit.
2. Add a Logic-Based Question
Drag in a question like "Multiple Choice" that will dictate the flow based on its answers.
3. Activate Conditional Logic
Click on your new question, then select the "Conditional Logic" option to open its settings.
4. Set Up Page/Slide Jumps
Choose a question and an answer (e.g., "If 'Answer A' is selected...").
Select "Jump To" and pick the specific slide or section you want the user to go to. This creates different paths within your form.
5. Implement Conditional Thank You Pages
Go to your form's overall "Options" settings.
Under "On Submit," define the default thank you page or URL for qualified leads.
For disqualified leads (set in Step 6), the system will automatically redirect them to a different, specified thank you page.
6. Disqualify Leads (Crucial Step!)
Back in the Conditional Logic for your qualifying question, select the answer that should disqualify a lead (e.g., "If 'Answer B' is selected...").
Choose "Disqualify Lead" as the action.
Always select "Disqualify after submit." This ensures the user's data is saved before they are redirected to a "disqualified" thank you page. (Avoid "Disqualify immediately" as it prevents data saving).
7. Save Your Work
Remember to save your form or survey regularly to apply all changes.
