Step 1. Start a Workflow
Go to the automation section of the platform and start a new workflow from scratch.
Step 2. Send the Initial Message
Choose to send an SMS (or WhatsApp if using the bolt-on).Write the message and personalize it using custom values like the recipient's first name.Step 3. Set a Wait Condition for Reply
Add a wait step, selecting "Contact Reply."Choose SMS (or WhatsApp) to wait for a response.Step 4. Set a Timeout for No Reply
Add a timeout (e.g., 1 day) to follow up if there’s no reply within the set time.The system will wait until the recipient replies or the timeout is reached.Step 5. End Workflow on Reply
If a reply is received, end the workflow to stop further automated messages.
Step 6. Continue Workflow for No Reply
If no reply is received after the timeout, add a follow-up message.Set conditions for "No Reply" (Contact Replied = False) to trigger further follow-up actions.Step 7. Add Additional Wait Steps
You can add more wait steps for further replies or no replies.Each wait step will follow the message directly above it.Step 8. End Workflow for Follow-up Completion
When the recipient eventually replies, remove them from the workflow.The follow-up sequence will stop automatically once a reply is received.
