Setting up email marketing with subdomains, smart lists, and campaigns

Step 1. Create Subdomain for Email Marketing
- Goal is to give each client their own email score
- Subdomain will be warmed up and separate from other clients
Step 2. Build Positive Email Sending History
- Continue to build positive email sending history
- Email score will improve with opens and engagement
Step 3. Improve Email Deliverability
- Create subdomain
- Remove spam contacts
- Use Google domains to scan for spam contacts
Step 4. Create Smart List for Email Marketing
- Go to contacts and filter by email
- Save as smart list (e.g. "Contacts with Valid Email")
Step 5. Create Email Campaign
- Go to marketing > emails > campaigns
- Create new campaign with design editor
- Drag and drop elements to design email
Step 6. Schedule Email Campaign
- Choose specific time and batch quantity
- Use batch scheduling to drip feed emails
- Consider timing based on demographic
Step 7. Set Up Email Settings
- Go to account > email
- Set up email and name
- Set up subject and preview text
- Choose smart list for recipients
