How to connect your domains to the STS CRM

Step 1. Purchase a Domain:

  • Choose a domain provider (e.g., Squarespace, Google Domains, 123Range, GoDaddy).
  • If you don't have a domain, visit the provider's website, use the search option to find a suitable domain, and purchase it.

Step 2. Access DNS Settings:

  • Once you have purchased a domain, go to the DNS settings in your domain provider's dashboard.

Step 3. Platform Settings:

  • In your platform, navigate to Settings.
  • Scroll down to Domains on the left-hand side.

Step 4. Add a Domain Record:

  • In the platform settings, click Add Domain.
  • Enter your domain name (e.g., www.yourdomain.com).
  • Ensure that both the WWW and non-WWW versions of your domain are enabled.

Step 5. Create a Subdomain (if necessary):

  • If your domain is already in use (e.g., www.yourdomain.com), you can create a subdomain (e.g., join.yourdomain.com).
  • Choose a phrase for the subdomain (e.g., join, coaching).

Step 6. Add DNS Records:

  • In the domain provider's DNS settings, add a CNAME record.
  • Enter the host (e.g., join), type (CNAME), and the value provided by your platform.
  • If using WWW, you may need to add an A record with the @ symbol and the provided IP address.

Step 7. Verify DNS Records:

  • Save the DNS records in your domain provider's settings.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to a minute.
  • In the platform, click Verify Records to ensure the domain is connected.
